Volunteer

We believe that a student's self-esteem is enhanced by positive relationships with supportive adults. Becoming a volunteer is a fabulous way to make a difference in a child's life.

Hands On Work

  • Classroom volunteers
  • Weekly commitment
  • Read one on one with students or help with their daily work

Library Volunteers

  • Shelf books, manage database, read or help students with library skills

Extended Day Program Volunteers

  • Tutor or help students with homework
  • Facilitate or assist with a special activity or clinic

Field Trip Chaperones

  • Help organize and chaperone students on field trips

Special Projects

There are also numerous opportunities for those who like to work from the sidelines. Yellowstone Academy has a guild that provides many volunteer services for special projects and events such as holiday celebrations.

       Special Projects include:
    •  Holiday events
    •  Christmas, Valentine's Day, and End-of-Year classroom parties
    •  School events
    •  Parent Open House and Family Game Night
    •  Teacher projects
    •  Teacher/staff appreciation luncheons once a month
